UPDATE April 2025:
I have sold all that I had in stock to the cool West Texas shop in Sanderson - Ferguson Motors, but have been working on a revamp of the way I do these, including a price that I have been able to decrease now that they are no longer sold in a Marfa shop!
This summer I hope to document the newer ones and update my shop. 
 
A blooming agave- its last hoorah- is so dramatic. How can a plant be so cool? 
 
This is a 4"x12" birch wood cradle panel stamped with my carved block. The wood is left natural on the front but I mask off and paint the sides using artist quality spray paints that have excellent, vibrant colors. Because I'm using ink and not paint (or relief print ink that you roll on)- the impressions are not as solid black, which I actually love because it leaves the design with a texture fitting to these desert dwelling plants. 
 
I affix sawtooth hangers and bumper guards to the back for hanging, and sign and date with pencil.
